NASCAR and the new Charger?
nah, I know it has lost its "Stock Car" basis, but now it is the best racing ever... everyone has the same terms that need to be sat for close exciting racing.

But thats why it's not interesting to me. It's just a big pack of cars going round and round. If it was like it use to be then you would have cars all over the track and stuff would be happening every where you looked. Thats one of the things thats so great about the Le Mans races, a bunch of cars that are at different levels of power and performance running around on the same track at the same time, it's GREAT!!!
Not only that, but back in the day... you were EXPECTED to block and push cars out of the way... now you get called to the Phone Booth (I liked it better when it was the big red trailer, LOL!) and reprimanded for such driving.

Rubbing is Racing. [sm=smiley20.gif] I wasn't around but I've seen videos of Dale pushing cars out of the way to win. I also saw a clip of two drivers fist fighting at the bottom of a corner after a wreck. That would have been entertaining.
NASCAR has become the WWE of the autoracing segment of the sports world. The most popular drivers get considerations that others don't. Certain car companies get special considerations that others don't. The sport has not been the same since they changed to the "modern era" points system back in the 70's.
Nascars' over-regulation of the sport has taken the interesting part of the sport away. If the manufacturers can't use it,racing, for some sort of R&D, or showcase their product/engineering/design as better than the other, it's not worth being in. I suppose your average person doesn't realize that the majority of the technology used in these cars is 30 + years old for the most part, and just because it says Dodge on the front, doesn't necessarily mean it is.[sm=smiley13.gif]
