I think your real question should be how much are the dealers going to mark it up until production catches up to demand.

roughly about the same as the equivilant magnum trim level, with the posible exception of the SE (if they are even making a charger SE) as the charger won't get the 2.7 from what i've read.

Youre right that I can't afford it. I'm only 17 and maybe will get one in the future.

same here, but if i go to the college i want to, i will be making an extra 10 grand a year from coop to afford it right out of college. by then i think there will be 6 speed autos in it, so i will be very happy.
I work at a dealer in colorado, we just got invoice on 2006 charger r/t rwd. It has sound group 2, convenience group 2, satellite radio, and electronic convenience. All that for $32,310 window. No decision from the top on what the premium might be. However we have been discounting 300c 's a little.

$32,720 for a magnum with 3 of the 4 packages. you still need to add the sound package, and then you got the price of a comparable magnum.
Here are the base prices for each Charger model except the SRT-8.
Charger SE: $22,795
Charger SXT: $25,995
Charger R/T: $29,995
Charger Daytona R/T: $32,495
I dont know of any option prices. Check the chrysler weblog website for more information.
