Stratus out, Avenger in at Dodge

RE: Stratus out, Avenger in at Dodge
the concept avenger looks like a dodge durango with a volkswagen bug roofline.
They already have brought back the challenger name once already and it was a wimpy little 80's front wheel drive 4-banger. Hopefully they will reserve it for at least some kind of V8 based vehicle in the future. And why whine about them calling a replacement for the stratus an Avenger, after all they already did the same thing with the Charger name, so what is the difference? I am far more disgusted by them killing off the neon line, I mean really how is the Caliber supposed to get better gas mileage than the Neon? Its far less aerodynamic & all these bigger gas hungry vehicles cant be good for chryslers over-all gas mileage average.

Take it from me, at the dealerships, the stratus is cold cold. I like them, but due to the aggresive styling of the newer models and the current European look becoming more and more evident, it has become a lot orniement. We still have 04's sitting on the lot (RT's) that people love, but won't buy.
I think taking the neon off is a mistake, even if the replacement will be nice.
