Question of the Week: Would you prefer a V6 Dodge Dart?
It is as simple as the title suggests...if Dodge were to begin offering the Dart with a powerful Pentastar V6, would you be more inclined to buy it?

After having just bought a Dart GT, I don't see the point of putting a V-6 in it. Yes the Jeep Cherokee, another CUSW platform vehicle, will come with the same 2.4 cylinder and have a v-6 option so it might be possible to fit the 6 in the dart; I just don't think its needed. the V-6 going into the Cherokee is there for off-road power.
I think most of the complaints were due to the 1.4L and the 2.0 engines, which serve a different purpose. 1.4L fuel economy, and 2.0L cheeper. leave the V-6 to the midsize class.
The only thing I would trade for would be the possible SRT Dart, preferably 4 cyl turbo with all wheel drive. That's just the opinion of some one who went from a 2001 Neon SE with 170,000 miles to a brand new 2013 Dart GT. It as more than enough power/pep/quickness for me.

A V6 Dart is the only way I would ever consider the Dart. I am not a fan of the World Engine I4 and to be fair, not a fan of I4s in general. If they put the 3.2L V6 in the Dart and put the 3.6L V6 in the Avenger replacement, I don't think they would threaten each other as much. It would help to make the Dart stand out.
