I ran across this vehicle and saved the pic because what I assumed it was, it was not. However, it COULD be....???


If you saw this on a Dodge Dealers lot, would you just assume this is the new generation Dakota that has been rumored?




There is a good reason I assume this....guess before you read on..
















For several years VW used our Minivan. Is this the reverse, as in, VW got our Dakota before we did? The VW Amarok DIESEL.

Oh well, fun idea anyway.

First thought was Colorado or Canyon.

I was focusing on the tailgate and tail lamps. It looked Ram-ish to me.


Still a good lookin truck though.

Surprised VW hasn't brought that here. The diesel would be the selling point. Styling is way too plain though. The last gen Dakota looks much better.

You see what they did with the RENEGADE name, I'm terrified to see what they'll do to the DAKOTA name.
