the Z06 is a good track car but in Le Mans, where you got hairpin turns followed by a deep stretch, the vipers sheer power pulls it away from the rest, the corvettes 30-60 time is much slower than vipers, it can handle turns well, but gets bogged down in between, and the light weight makes traction troublesome, whereas,
the massive viper sticks to the pavement

I'd love to test each car out at a track to see which is better but nobody trusts me[8D]

Again, I think you better go get examined. The current Z06 more then holds its own against the Viper. They are two very evenly matched vehicles except in gearing and 1/4 mile times. That's not an opinion....thats fact...

 

OK, how about this,
I'll steal a viper, you steal a corvette
We go down to the local twistie track, and duke a few laps,
thats the best way to determine the final result

Those #s are absolute BULL SH*T. One of my Customers at work got his SRT-10 Viper To pull off an 11.6 1/4 mile stock.

For starters, DODGE THEMSELVES cant get a STOCK SRT-10 Viper to do an 11.6 1/4 mile.....so why dont you ask your customer what mods he has done on the car......and if it truly is stock.....get some slips....

 

right..and is your customer a professional driver, running in ideal conditions? because when those cars are tested, they are done so by a professional driver, in ideal conditions...

 

You got a ways to go, Im not stating that the Vipers Official time should be 11.6 But It is an 11 second care PERIOD none the less.

The First stock Viper to enter the 11s was the 97 GTS.
