just a little tidbit of info that I got out of this month's motortrend!!

 

I haven't seen the new issue yet. What else do they say about it?

 

it's to be introduced officially in early 2005. It gave no pricing numbers nor did it say anything about it's torque output, but from the looks of it, both will be huge. I can't wait to see what it can do!!

 

Rumors on pricing for the 300 SRT-8 have been that it'll be in the $42-$43k range, for whatever that's worth.

 

So that'll mean close to $50K out the door...hmmmmmm.[sm=smiley5.gif]

 

Just wait for Charger instead.

 

Motor Trend, has been known as a source who can't get all the facts striaght. From all of the insiders I have heard, the 6.1L HEMI V-8 will debut in the 2006 Dodge Charger in Feburary of 2005. The SRT-8 models of the Dodge Magnum and Chrysler 300C, should appear on the auto show circuit this fall, however they will feature supercharged versions of the 5.7L HEMI V-8 and will offer around 430 horsepower.

I've actually heard it both ways in recent months, Bob. It's possible that there's been some internal debate over this. Have you heard any details about the supercharged 5.7 lately?

 

I guess time will tell ss or 6.1 maybe hemifaker was right all along
