More Chrysler/Dodge Minivans spy photos!
a v8 will be a very tight fit. I would prefer the 4.0 v6 over the 4.7 v8 for minivan. the 4.0 is lighter, makes more power and problaby gets better mpg's.
Well if they were to put a V8 in, which honestly I don't see them doing, it should be the 5.7, the 4.7 IMO should be scrapped and have some magoy rework done on the design as it's a smaller engine, gets much less hp and torque than the 5.7 while getting worse fuel economy, I really can't see the point in putting it in any vehicle.

IF they were to put a V-8 in there, I don't see them putting the Hemi in there. They would put the 4.7L, there wouldn't be the space.
A V-8 would be a very, very tight fit. I mean, I copied instructions for a power-steering pump removal/installation for either a 3.3L or 3.8L V6, and it seemed you had to dislocate half the vehicle. I mean, unless they increase the size of the engine compartment 50%, well.... I'd hate to even think about working on a V-8 Caravan.
Unless, of course, they come out with a small V-8. Well, none-the-less, if indeed the rumors are true, we would have the only minivan with a V-8 and also the only mid-size truck with a V-8. And one headache of a van to work on.
