RE: Dodge Avenger spied
I like the overall look of the car (even though it looks alot like a "micro-Charger"), though I must say that the front end looks alittle misproportioned compared to the rest of the car. When I looked at the first picture at the top of the page, I thought that the new Avenger's lines looked somewhat similar to the Mazda RX-8 (not a bad thing!). I suppose that I'll have to wait to see one in person before I can pass final judgment. I'll admit, I thought that the Jeep Compass was an ugly little car when I first saw photos of it- after I saw one in person, I completely changed my mind about them.
Are these cars being built on the same platform as the Mitsubishi Eclipse similar to the Avengers of yore?

RE: Dodge Avenger spied
It will probably be the same as the Sebring's powertrain. http://www.chrysler.com/en/sebring/f...ifications.pdf The sad thing is they have the 2.7L listed as a 12 valve and this is the offical site. I'll tell you these sites have such clutz editing them.
Although this source is hardly offical or completely reliable, wikipedia seems to think that the Avenger and Sebring will have an SRT version. They didn't say whether it would be an SRT-4 or SRT-6. What do you think?

Only info I have...
I still wish the front end was more aerodynamic looking and not block-like...
