The side view is what I like the most. It isn't the best looking car, but for some reason I like it.

Yeah that is sort of what it reminds me of. Like I said, I like the side view.

I like the overall look of the car (even though it looks alot like a "micro-Charger"), though I must say that the front end looks alittle misproportioned compared to the rest of the car. When I looked at the first picture at the top of the page, I thought that the new Avenger's lines looked somewhat similar to the Mazda RX-8 (not a bad thing!). I suppose that I'll have to wait to see one in person before I can pass final judgment. I'll admit, I thought that the Jeep Compass was an ugly little car when I first saw photos of it- after I saw one in person, I completely changed my mind about them.

Are these cars being built on the same platform as the Mitsubishi Eclipse similar to the Avengers of yore?

It will probably be the same as the Sebring's powertrain. http://www.chrysler.com/en/sebring/f...ifications.pdf The sad thing is they have the 2.7L listed as a 12 valve and this is the offical site. I'll tell you these sites have such clutz editing them.

Although this source is hardly offical or completely reliable, wikipedia seems to think that the Avenger and Sebring will have an SRT version. They didn't say whether it would be an SRT-4 or SRT-6. What do you think?

I like it... The only thing I don't like is the muscle curves on the side that mirror the Charger...

the problem with wiki is that if you sound like you know what youre talking about, and youre not predicting the end of the world or something, they will stick their seal of approval on it.

Only info I have...

I still wish the front end was more aerodynamic looking and not block-like...
