Most of the Chevy and Ford work trucks have plastic molding; whats the difference?
i think it makes it look tough.

This isnt done for style. Those black plastic moldings have a purpose...They help keep the rocks and debris from damaging the paint. If it breaks its cheaper to fix than to have to repair bumper or fender.
