Default 440 HP Motor Decoding Stall 727 Help

Trying to figure out what type of car my 440 came out of. Currently in a 1969 Dodge Charger RT. I strongly believe motor is original but not certain. Marked on Block Vin Pad E 440 12 16HP2

Also trying to figure out if I need a weighted stall convertor or a non weighted convertor for that motor.

I would appreciate all help. Thanks Ben

If I'm not mistaken, HP2 is a 6 pack block with heavier rods in it.

Basically, you just need to see if the crank is internally or externally balanced.

Can you post a picture of the stamping on the top pad of the block?

Oh yeah, welcome to the forum Ben!!
