Default Magnum Hood Help

Has anyone installed a functional hood scoop on their Magnum? I pick up my 07 Torred Magnum on the 8th of April. I’m installing a JBA exhaust system and a Jet stage 2 chip. I need some kind of cold air intake but I like the looks of a hood scoop. I would wait until the 2008 model comes out but I’m leaving for Bahrain at the end of April (.82 cents a gallon gas). Thanks

How can this hood be considered functional if "No optional air box is currently available for this application"?

It's functional because it takes outside air and directs it to the intake area of the engine. The Magnum hood is identical to the Charger Style 1 hood. The Style 2 is the hood style that requires the air box. Check the Charger Style 2 hood and it will show the air box.

The Ramair hood right now is the nicest option hood-wise for the Magnums.

I opted for a true Shaker though and I am very pleased with the results.

Where did you get your shaker? Florida by chance? I only know of one place that is doing them right now. At least doing them right.

Yes, Danko reproductions is out of Miami and are making the only true Shaker for our cars. It is molded from an authentic Cuda Shaker. Here are some of my latest pics: PICS
