Can anyone tell me if they were able to get rear seat video for a Charger SRT-8. The brochures don't show it as an option on the SRT-8. I figure if worse comes to worse I can have the dealer install it. Is there something in the SRT-8 that makes this impossible to do. I think the console is the same and I assume the navigation radio is the same but I'm not sure.

Yes Doug, you can indeed order the SRT-8 with rear seat DVD. It might not show it in the brochure, but I know for a fact that when you go to order one, it comes up on the options list.

 

that's great. Now I need to find out if they can still add it to my order. I'll call the dealer tomorrow.

It is not a factory option on the SRT-8 Charger. It can be dealer installed though for about $1,400.

i have installed a rear seat dvd in a regular charger. it was really quite simple. it involved taking the center console out, running a harness, removing the center lid and installing the unit. very clean assembly. not sure of the price though.

 

The rear seat DVD is an option I am interested in installing in my 06 Magnum SRT8.

I feel confident that this is something I can manage, I just need to source the kit?

Stantheman would you happen to know what the Chrysler part number is for this kit?

not real sure off the top of my head but will try to remember to find out for ya. i will also look at our srt-8 to make sure they have the same center console. it will be monday before i could get back with ya.
