Default 1971 Dodge Dart 318 Swinger Cranks but No Start

1971 Dodge Dart 318 Swinger Cranks but No Start

I have a sweet 71 Swinger with 44,000 original miles.
Ive done very little work on it because its so cherry.
Today I went to take it out for a sunday drive and it started up and after a second, died. Now it just cranks and cranks. I opened the air intake just in case i flooded it. I also checked the fuel level. The gauge reads 1/4 tank, and I put a stick down the tank, I've got 8 inches.

All my google searches are coming up fusible link, and not to sound like a moron, but i dont know where that is. ;-)
i also checked all the glasss fuses and they look good.

Any help would be....helpful
Thanks

I actually think its the fuel filter might be clogged. Heading to Autozone now. I'll give it a try in the morning.

It is not the starter relay if it cranks. Did you try to jump it to rule the battery out? Have a friend spray some ether down the carburetor to see if it fires up. You may need to rebuild the carburetor if it has been sitting for a while.
