i was wondering if anyone knew how hard it was to change the guage overlay in yor car

 

What part are you talking about ? The clear front or the surface the nomenclature is printed on?

 

It depends on your car ... most require removing the instrument cluster, then some will require needle removal , if needle removal might require recalibration of the speedo as well as reseting all the other needles ... Some can be slipped over the needles then secured by double backed sticky tape or screws...If they are intelliglo or lighted might require electrical connections
