I have used a lot of soaps and I tend to like Optimum Car Wash. It cleans nicely, smells great (blueberry), plenty of suds, and suds last during a wheel wash. It does not leave any special gloss like some soaps but I like it that way.

after using Meg's gold class for years, I was concerned about inducing swirls and marring while washing my truck. Nissan's paint is soft and since my truck is black... you could sneeze and cause swirls.

so,
i read online that Griots car wash has a high lubricity level. i use a foam gum with Chemical guys maxi Suds II to pretreat the surface.

My wife has a black 2011 Suburban and I know how you feel gav'spurpelz. Less than a year old and swirls everywhere. It pisses me off since I use every tactic to minimize scratches and swirls when I hand wash it and then she will take it to a car wash to negate my efforts.

if you wash her truck, why would she take it to a car wash ?!?!??!

My truck hasnt even been through a touchless wash.

hand washes only... but... an afternoon of polishing awaits me...

I wish I could remember the name of the stuff but I think it was from Black Magic and was in a red container with a black lid, the wash itself was a white liquid and had like streeks of color in it ..... It was bad azz but cant find it anymore
