I'm in the market for a new to me truck. Looking to get a 98-02 24v. I found a 99 dodge ram 2500 slt cummins with 169k, leather, long bed ext cab, 4x4, and all the power options. Great shape and they are asking $8500. From searching around that seems to be a decent deal. Completely stock...no fifth wheel.

I know to check for the 53 block and these years have problems with the dash. Any other things I should check out? I'm just getting into diesels and don't know too much about the 24v's
