okay i have a 2009 dodge avenger just bought it with 34,000km and as soon as i got it i filled in up with gas and i ened up getting 355km to a full take of gas and i was told i should get 700 or somehting like that can anyone help me figure this out?

 

How many Gallon/Liter did your fill up took? you got a 4cyln or 6 Cyln model?
How fast do you drive? City or highway?
355km/tank sounds normal if you got a V6. or City Driving.
Who told you 700km per tank? the sales man? they lied.

If you got a 4cyln, Set ur Cruise Control at 75km/hr, then you might get 700km/tank. Wait, no it won't, even my 1.8l Toyota Corolla barely gets me 550km/tank.

 

i have a 4cylinder 2.4l engine and this car was built for fuel economy and its city driving and when i loooked it up on goole in says 700 city and 900 highway and my buddy just bought a dodge ram 1500 hemi and he gets 450km city doesnt make sense

 

and im ***** footing around i aint hard on her at all

 

2.4L is no economy car I can tell you that for sure.

 

The Ram truck's Gas tank is twice the Size of ur car's gas tank.
It is about right for you and ur friend.

Here is what u do, Fill up the Gas tank until the pump click, reset the trip meter. next time when u fill up Gas, top it off, see how many liter you filled up, and Read the Trip meter. check how many KM you get per liter.

Chrysler product built for Fuel economy? First time i heard that...

 

i would disagree a bit. now a days finer tuned engines with more than 2.4 liter capacity are in the market. the best part is they do have great gas economy. of course not all of them.
