Only while in gear, I have it on a dyno and when I hit the brakes it stalls. Can I check the egr signals from the plug?? If I spray starting fluid in it runs rough and stalls.

 

Have you tried blocking it off ?????

yeah, try just block off EGR. Just remove tube and tape off the port. You don't have to check any signal, car runs without EGR.

So you are saying, if you are In gear, at a complete stop 0 MPH, car will stall right?
I am asking if the car stalls when you hit the brake while car is rolling t 25MPH.
And there is NO WAY to keep it running even if you give it gas? Like left Foot on brake, complete stop, right foot on Gas Pedal 30%?

it does sound like you got a Fuel issue. But try Check Timing, Maybe the Timing Belt jumped a teeth or 2. It is kinda common on those engine, yet no Check engine light.

 

Even if I hit the brakes at 20 miles per hr slowing down for a red light.

 

I blocked of the egr valve with masking tape and the car idled is masking tape not a good choice?

 

Well After it stalled today, I sprayed it with ether and it stays running as l keep pumping the gas as soon as I let off it stalls, I blocked off the egr valve with a metal blocker and the car started up and idled but at 100 degrees today I didn't do the 14 mile test.

 

Masking tape will burn up as soon as the car gets hot , Use a metal piece some have even used a nickel or dime to block it off

 

Okay I blocked it with a metal shim and it still runs but rough

 

could there be a leak around your EGR block ?
Have you tried spraying carb cleaner to check for leaks ?
Does it still stall or just run rough ?

 

I put the shim behind the egr and bolted it in like it was being installed. It runs rough but doesn't stall immediately but after the 14 miles run it will stall
