How many miles is on your's now? And do you still like it?
I have had my SXT for 11 months, just turning 15,000km and have not had a problem.
One thing I did find out is NEVER hit the lock/unlock on ignition key when starting
the car, this will cause a situation (at least on mine) showing ignition fault and one of
the signs is you can't get out of park.If it happens just take the key out of ignition
and lock then unlock using the keyfob, this clears the fault.
That's probably the only thing I dislike about so many of the newer cars, the fact
that the ignition keys have gotten so damn big.
I enjoy driving the Caliber and the 31mpg city/39 mpg hiway is great.

Wow, I'm killing everyone here
I've got a little over 26k on my SXT, got it back in June of '06. The next month I drove from Austin, TX to New Jersey to get married, then down to Hilton Head, SC for our honeymoon, then back to Austin.
Then I've driven 3 or 4 times from Austin up to northern Kansas to visit family. Additionally, before I started a new job working from home, I was putting 50 miles on it each work day.
I love it still. It hasn't shown any signs of failing me, and still gets good gas mileage (average slightly over 30mpg). It's such a versatile vehicle. The only reason I showed up here today is I remembered this resource when I was looking at getting a trailer hitch installed. Trying to make it more versatile
*Edit: When I say 26k, I mean 26,000+ miles, not km

Well I guess for mileage I'm a little more up there at 49k at the moment. Should hit around 50 in the next week I figure. As far as problems go the only thing its been in for service on is the plastic piece where the seatbelt goes into the seat popping off, reflash for the temperature reading wrong and an intermittent battery light that was fixed with a reflash. So overall I've had it since March of last year with nothing really major wrong with it. I had the Mopar Performance Air Intake, Headers, Exhaust, and NGK Iridium plugs installed the first 2 weeks I had it and overall they work well, but definitely made the car a lot louder. No real complaints as of yet though .....
About 1 week short of 1 year ownership of my SE Caliber w/CVT. All comments I made on 4/19/2007 apply except for the following. I now have 16,500 miles on the car with just short of 500 running hours(Check running hours by setting your EVIC button to total mileage. Turn ignition on till the check engine symbol lights on the dashboard. Push EVIC button for 8 to 10 seconds.Total running hours will replace total mileage near EVIC button.). My Caliberruns perfectly. My overall average MPG droppedas low as 28.4 thru a cold winter &winter mix gasoline. Withlate winter,& spring & summer, my overall average MPG rose to 30MPG & has finally reached 31.3MPG with nearly50 tanks of gasoline. My average MPG over 4000 foot mtns has been 32.7MPG with a highway high of 35.6 MPG. Steady feather footing has paid offdramatically compared to lead footers.Yes, my Caliber keeps me v.v. happy.
