My 4 way flashers have stopped working so I took it to the dealer now day 2 and they haven't figured it out....

I checked the drivers manual and no flasher unit to be seen..

All the electrical systems in the Caliber are controlled by a computer which
is referred to as the TIPM(Totally Integrated Power Module) which is part
of the fuse panel under the hood. This system is very voltage/current sensitive
so if you have made any changes to the electrical system i.e. trailer hitch wiring
the TIPM will shut down the system it senses is the offender. There have been
several posts elsewhere on the net where it was as simple as reflashing the
TIPM software and several where the TIPM as a unit had to be replaced.
If you have doubts about the abilities of the dealer you took it to with regards
to solving your problem try another one sometimes that's the solution.

Smile 4 Way flashers

Well that's one way to make more money... I'll try a new dealer if they can't figure it out.

We haven't changed anything with the car it only 10 month old 29K on it.

Thanks
Cheers
