Default 30k checkup

Hi guys. I had a few questions regarding mantenence on my caiber. The book tells me I need to change the ac filter at 24k. Has anyone Checked it at 24? Has anyone had to replace it? And if so how much? Also, it's telling me to change the plugs. I was wondering if they really need to be dne so soon and o how long you have gone with. Clean plugs. Thanks
Justin

Plugs, yes, they are copper core and will be worn.
I have not checked my cabin filter yet. I only have 9K on ours. Walmart sells many cabin filters and it should be fairly easy to change. It is in the ductwork somewhere.

Cabin air filter is behind the glovebox.
