im new to this forum and just bought a 09 ram 1500 hemi 5.7 liter what mods is recommended for this vehicle for performance? do i need an intake or just drop in and a friend mentioned somethin about the diablo chip for more power. Please help need some more power

Well, you might have better luck in the 09 Ram forum, but on my 08, I use a drop-in K&N filter and a Diablosport Predator tuner. The tuner makes a nice noticeable difference.
No real gains from a CAI really.

 

i have a 2008 dodge caliber sxt. trying to add as much hp as possible. would love some help as to what will give me the hp i need

 

Cat-back Magnaflow exhaust and a high flow K&N replacement filter is a good place to start.

 

Does anyone know numbers? How much do the cold air intakes help with these cars? I just got mine about to run to the dealership to finalize a few things but would love a little more power. I looked on K&N and threes run about $250 bucks, I also saw a mopar one for much cheaper. I love K&N but mopar may be my best bet for now without fabing my own.

What type of gain has everyone been seeing with the CAI’s?
