Engine Question
Okay so i want to put in a stage 2 performance chip in my car and i was told by a friend that i might have to adjust my engine for this. question is what would i have to do for this? what kind of parts do i need to buy.
I have a 2008 dodge caliber SE hatch back 2.0L I4 SFI automatic.
One of the sites i have been looking at. dunno if any of this is legit though

It is a 4.7K ohm resistor that goes in the wire to the IAC (intake air temp) sensor that fools the computer into thinking the incoming air is about 20 degrees cooler than it actually is. It riches the fuel mixture a little and advances the timing a tad. It will give a couple of hp. Make your own for a couple of bucks. You can buy the resistors at Radio Shack.
Not worth $99 at all!!!
Where you at in Louisville? I'm in the PRP area.

Dixie hwy area between Shively and Valley Station
Many of the Ram guys have made this mod for their trucks.
Also known as a power wire sold at www.airram.com for under $50 I think.

Thought it only void's the warranty if you take apart the engine or trans? my car dont have any warranty at all that i know of bought it as is off the lot.

Shouldn't unless you break something. I have a Airaid intake pipe and a Magnaflow cat-back on my Ram. It only voids the warranty on the parts that you replace unless something happens and they can prove that the modification that was done, caused the failure. I also have a Diablosport Predator, I just reinstall the stock tune before going to the dealer, just in case.
