Default Caliber Performance/Fuel saver chip installation

Hello there,

Is everyone who has tried to install something like that?

I've bought some chip which is called Promax X-Chip and their installation manual is so poor.

As I good understand that chip plays with ECU's sensors (oxygen, MAF, IAT)
In that paper was wrote what one wire should be conected to O2 sensor's (signal wire) but which of those are signal wire, there are 4 wires.
One wire to IAT sensor (there are 2 wires) which of them is IAT wire?
One to IAT sensor signal wire (where to find it)?
One to MAF sensor signal wire (there are 3 wires which of them is signal wire)?

Could anybody help me?

I would not tap into the O2 sensor wire. Nothing but trouble there.
The IAT is in the intake pipe.
Dodge does not use a MAF so you can't hook it there either.

Send it back for a refund because it does not work.

See my PM for a cheap upgrade.

How could it be? It uses MAF, I saw it wiring diagrams, and air intake system there are show MAF, it shoud be used, because if I good understand MAF is calculating air mass for gas burning. Am I right?

Sorry about that. You can try the resistor trick that I mentioned. Many of the Ram truck guys do it.

They have changed very little since 07. The 2010 got a little bit of an interior upgrade.
It feels like the CVT2 transmission holds the car back.
I think the 2.4L would move the car a bit better.

I have heared that Dodge started use little bit better materials in the interior. Because my caliber when we have little bit more than -5 degrees outdoor, all plastic panels starts to "talk" That creaking is getting me out crazy

Ours are hard plastic, but make no noise even when below 0 outside. They do not rattle with the radio turned up loud and the bass hitting either. Anything laying in the map pocket at the bottom of the panels will rattle though.

Ogh yea I knew that problem, but I resolved it. I insterted additional sound isolation. I used 5mm bituminous for outside tins, and 10mm bituminous for inside tins and plastic door panels. Now music sounds great without crapy sounds, but still have creaky sound from front panel near to windshield. I cant find a solution for it.
