Wellllllll....

It's not the Fuse... and it's not the cup holder lights (aftermarket, I had to replace and rewire). Even the dimmer switch doesn't kill the issue... I don't want a ghetto Caliber !!!

Do they dim as they should, but still flicker?

Yeah. It'll dim fine but still will flicker. Sometimes when it's on the lowest setting it will flash to the brightest real quick. Rather annoying. If the Caliber wasn't pieced together like legos I would take a screw driver to it.. but there are no screws!

Sounds like a cluster problem if the HVAC controls do not flicker. Maybe a bad connection at the cluster plug or possibly a weal ground.
I haven't had to rip into mine yet, so I'm not sure how the Lego pieces are snapped together.

You have to remove the Upper Dash to get the cluster out. it is very painful.
I never seen a flickering cluster on caliber b4. But this sounds like a cluster problem if no other lights flickers.
