Calibre tail/brake light

1. Remove the tail lamp unit (Refer to 8 - ELECTRICAL/
LAMPS/LIGHTING - EXTERIOR/TAIL LAMP
UNIT - REMOVAL).
NOTE: It is not necessary to completely remove
the tail lamp unit. Once loosened from quarter
panel, there should be enough room to service
any of the bulbs.
2. Disconnect the electrical connector.
3. Remove bulb socket from tail lamp unit by twisting
a quarter turn counterclockwise.
4. Pull socket straight out of tail lamp unit.
5. Pull bulb from socket
DOMESTIC
1. Disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable.
2. Using a trim stick or equivalent, pry out the two
push pins (2) retaining the tail lamp unit (1).
3. Pull straight back on the tail lamp unit (5) to
release it from the quarter panel (4).
4. Disconnect the three electrical connectors (1, 2,
and 3) to the tail lamp unit (5).
5. Remove the tail lamp unit (5) from the vehicle.
6. Remove the bulb sockets from the lamp unit by
rotating the sockets counterclockwise, and then pull
straight out of the unit.
I would suggest going to this link and download the service manual. It is for an 07, but most all is the same.

I recently changed a bulb in ours.
Lift the hatch and on the side of the light, you will find two fasteners. Take a small screwdriver and pull the center out. It is has a pin the goes into the fastener that spreads the core out and holds the fasteners into the body.
After pulling the cores out, pop out the remaining body of the fasteners and rotate the fixture out towards the outside of the car. I would post a picture of the two black retainers, but the wife has the car at work.

Ixman is right: Open the hatch; you need 2 small flatblade screwdrivers - one on each side of the black plastic 'pin' - pull the pin out, then the circular insert it was in; repeat for the 2nd one. Then use a soft plastic item to pry the lens out from the two '*****' holding the lens in place. Twist out the bulb sockets and replace.
I DO have a question - I have water INSIDE the TAIL Light assembly - and there is no opening I can get it out of. Anybody else have this issue and suggested solution? Don't want to drill holes into it if I don't have to.

I have seen a few out on the road that way. There is either a hairline crack or a leak where the lens meets the housing along the top. You might try some clear silicon along the seam where the lens meets the housing.
Other than drilling a small hole in the bottom, you will have to heat them up to separate the lens. Usually done in the oven, but I don't know what temp to use that is hot enough to melt soften the glue without warping the plastic.
