reconnect airbag wire in driver headrest
2010 Caliber - Does anyone know how difficult it is to reconnect the head rest wire that attaches to the driver side airbag? The head rest was removed, and now the airbag light stays on. Oh .. and .. Are diagnostic codes dated?

Welcome to the forum.
I am not sure how hard it is to get to the connector on the headrest airbag. I would unhook the battery for about 30 min before attempting in just to be sure it doesn't fire by accident.
I do not believe that the codes are dated, assuming that you mean that it records the time/date when the code is thrown.

O, you open up the back of the "seatback" on your seat, you'll see the connectors for the Headrest. Some of the seat back has zipper, most have clip on plastic piece.

Slide your finger onto the Top of that plastic piece, and yank it out, it is just clip on by spring clips.
These headrest don't have airbag in them, it is just spring loaded with a latch. If it accidentally deploy on your, you can just push it back in there.
as for the airbag light, I think it will clear itself after like 5 drive cycle.
