Default Gauge install

On my 2012 Caliber I want to put an oil pressure gauge in the panel just below the AC vent between the steering wheel and the door. does anyone know what is behind that panel and how do you get access behind it. I am also open to any suggestions as to locations to put gauges, calibers are kinda short on flat surfaces. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

i dont know about location but i have ideas on the tube to use. use ONLY break line tubing. anything else, will be trouble. 1/16 steel break line tubing should do good. been there done that. a new alloy nicopp for break line tubing looks good to me.

Metal tubing will fatigue from engine harmonics over time. Nylon or braided tubing is best for automotive use.

I agree with the nylon tubing, however II do run it through small hose for added protection where it may rub on anything. still need to know about the panel though.
