fuel door locks problem - needs the help of locksmith

Default fuel door locks problem - needs the help of locksmith

I have my truck dodge caliber 2006 and i'm having problem with it fuel cap. my fuel door locks is not working properly it locks and unlocks itself so i'm afraid of the leakage of the fuel. IF anyone knows about the cheap & as well as good quality locksmith kindly inform me about it.

Welcome to the forum.

Don't know about a locking door, our 09 gas door does not lock.

It shouldn't leak any fuel unless the gas cap is missing. And that would onlt be if it was filled to the top and you take a hard right hand turn..

Every once and a while put some graphite lube into the lock. Rain, water, condensation can muck the lock function up. Go with local locksmith and just add a locking cylinder
