Default 2009 Caliber SE, 83,000 miles, idle issues in cold/wet weather

when i start the car cold on days when its under 40 degrees, there is some idle fluctuation. i'm not sure how much exactly as the SE doesn't have a tach, but you can hear it. once the cars warms up for a few minutes, then it goes away. also, in wet weather only it seems, i'll be sitting at idle and the rpms will drop for only a second then go back to normal. it does this a few times then is good. it almost seems like the car wants to stall but then catches itself at the last second. i've only had this car for about 2 months, so i havent had the chance to pull the plugs/air filter to see how they look yet, i'm gonna do that on tuesday as that is a good first step. anyone have any problems with their caliber like this, and if so, what ended up being the cause?

edit: btw, there is no check engine light.

Welcome to the forum

If you haven't gotten this issue fixed yet, I would start by cleaning the throttlebody.
