Hey guys im here from the Dodge Ram forums and have a question about my moms 2008 Dodge Caliber. Well recently I went outside to start my moms car and It slowly started and then cut out. I then attempted to start it again and the engine will turn over but wont start. I then popped the hood and had my mom start the caliber and as long as she keeps trying to start the vehicle the engine will keep trying to turn over. The engine light and that little red electrical symbol light is coming on. Anybody have this problem or know what maybe going on?

 

hmmm so I got it to start by pumping on the gas pedal? Nobody has had this issue before?

 

Scan it for codes. There is a problem with the drive-by-wire system. Possibly a bad throttlebody.
