caliber 2009 switch off alarm

Hi i have a 2009 caliber and a dog when i leave the dog in the car the alarm goes off. Is there any way to lock the car without the alarm switching on ?

I don't know of a way to disable this. You might read thru the owners manual just to see. I have never looked for this issue on our 09 Caliber.
