2.0 liter 5 speed manual
I can't find a listing for this in any brochure or from any dealer.
But in researching this vehicle almost every tester mentions it and I quote "The Caliber is no sports car, but we most enjoyed the mid-level SXT model with the 2.0-liter engine and five-speed manual transmission." from internetautoguide.com
So my question is, is this coming or are they all delerious and thought it had a 5 speed
I only ask because I would be interested in the 2.0 liter 5 speed.

Most reviewers got it right, but a couple, like the one you referred to, haven't done their homework or proofreading. It may be information overload or wishful thinking that led to the mistake.....
Here's a pic of what the manual shifter looks like. I'm not totally sure about the 1.8 liter ONLY rumor. Could be true but I doubt it.

Yes, the 1.8L I4 is the only one offered with the five-speed stick, except for the 2.4L I4 in the SRT-4 which has a six-speed.

The shifter looks kinda silly if you ask me....

It looks like the shifters off the 02-05 Civic Si ugly *** hatchbacks...and that shift boot is horrid to say the least.
The boot looks like a piece of rubber stretched around the shifter. I drove one on Saturday at work and the five-speed shifter feels clunky and the clutch is slightly abrupt.
