Sirius Satelite Radio
Has anyone had the Sirius installed by the dealer? I ordered my Sunburst Orange SXT back in April. It should be in any day now (supposedly shipped Monday or Tuesday) and did not get the Sirius. I thought about adding it but with all the issues in getting these cars I didn't want to push my luck or have to start again in the back of the line.
I was thinking about having the dealership add it when it comes in but I want to make sure it will function like the factory one. My car has the AM/FM 6 Disc CD Changer with Cassette and I have the Driver Convenience Group. I just want to make sure the addition of Sirius will not be something attached to the dash and will show the Artist/Song information on my radio.
Anyone know?
Artist info only shows up on the high end radios....Not sure which one you have.
But a Sirius kit bought through dealer parts dept. will work very well.
A module bolts under the dash - out of site - antanae sticks to roof, just like factory, cables are hidden, operates just like the factory unit.

When we test drove one it had that feature and my 12 year old thought it was really neat if your listening to a song and you dont know who is singing it you hit the info button and it tells you who is singing the song and the singers name
I've got the 6 disc w/convenience group- LOVE IT! If you press info, it will tell you the artist name and song, but the info under the temp/compass just tells you which station you are on, even if it is am/fm. So when I'm listening to the Vault, I keep it on info so I can see the artist on the radio itself. Love the Sirius!
