My wife and I discussed this over dinner. We decided, if this had happened to ours, we'd insist on another one.

That's why I didn't get a stupid caliber [8D]
My Caliber is a LOT better than your FUGLY looking STUPID NEON! Not all Calibers experience problems. In fact, I'd say hardly any Calibers have major issues like that. When you build thousands of Calibers, or even your wonderful Neon per week, a few are bound to have some sort of problems. How do you know the sunroof just wasn't installed properly? The same thing could and did happen on a Neon with a sunroof somewhere along the lines.

Well folks, I was on the way to my dealer today as a minor scratch have to be resolved,
(This was done by the dealer’s workshop scratching it when putting in the reversing sensor)
When I lost power on the motorway.[] I managed to get to the dealer. They just rang me and one of the Turbo hoses had come off.

I was also a little worried about the small puddle of water under the car. This was from the Air Con which apparently was on even though it was not indicated on the dash. The Dealer service chap said that this is a Chrysler / jeep issue. Perhaps you folks know more.

I should have it back tomorrow about 4pm. They have given me a Jeep Cherokee 3.7ltr automatic, as I have to get to work tomorrow. I only driven an automatic once before, so it’s been fun. [&:]

All in all a **** day I only had 2 hours sleep last night (don’t ask) and when I got to work two of my staff called in sick. Let hope for a better day tomorrow!!! [sm=bangbang.gif]

On the plus side the cargo storage mat has arrived. Yippee [sm=drooldude.gif]

Actually my old '04 Stratus Coupe never had any trouble what so ever. I never had to take it back to the dealer for anything. It didn't have a sunroof in it though, so I can't say much about that. My '02 Neon ES on the other hand was a different story. It was in once to fix a misfiring upon hard acceleration, bad coil pack, out of alignment, and I know there was something else, but I can't think of it right now.

So far so good with my Caliber. No rattles, no pinging, no clicking on or off, sunroof doesn't leak so far. My Caliber was even pulled from the quality control as it was a "rushed" order because they screwed up and never scheduled it to be built when they should have. My Caliber was even built mostly on the midnight shift on a Friday night/Saturday morning.
