It is worth the wait no matter how long it takes. I waited over 23 weeks for a factory order Caliber. Once you get the car that is all that matters.

ok...i would like to say that my dealer took care of me and got exactly what i wanted, which was what they "guarenteed"...i would like to say that i showed up and sat in my car and it had everything they said it would...but i would be lying on both counts....the one option i wanted was the driver convenience package...i was told that it wasn't listed on the break down sheet because it was included in the "X" package...i asked "are you 100% sure about that, because it's really what i want (at this point i had already given up on getting MusicGate and really didn't want to give up any more)"...his answer "i sure am"...well...i saw my black AWD R/T last night and it was great...blue inserts (which i like a lot)...and i look up and see no universal garage door openers, then at the display and there's no EVIS (or what ever the computer thing is called)...so no drive convenience group...i looked at my sales person and said "it doesn't have the Dealer convenience group"...he smiles and said "driver, not dealer"...i simply said "right. OK, but it's not here. You said it would be."...he said something to the effect of "don't worry about it, we were trying to get the car at the price you wanted and this is almost everything you wanted"...talk about pissed...but, it was here and i didn't want to deal with them any more...so i drove home and i must say that all in all, i love it!....it handles great and stops on a dime...*smiles*...i am glad to now be a member of the Caliber tribe and will get some pics of my baby when the weather clears up...
thanks for reading my venting....lol
