Default Towing

I have a 2005 2.4L Caravan and was wondering if it would be able to pull a small pop up camper like 1200 Lbs.

check with your dealer or owners manual and see what its/they say
1200lbs isn't much but on a 4 cyl it might be to much
put a tranny cooler on it bigger than they recommend
with my 3.0 i pulled a 2001 starcraft close to 3000 lbs maybe more loaded and had the rv place put a larger cooler on4 yrs later no tranny problems

the killer for most tranny's is heat so keep it cool

Check ur hitch rating it will be on the hitch most mini vans have a rating of between 1500 and 2500 lbs. U will only need a tranny cooler if u will be towing alot and if u will be towing in hilly situations.
