Default Drivers side not blowing heat

2003 Grand Caravan has duel climate control and the drivers side will only blow cold air on the cold setting and not so cold on the high heat setting. Anyone ever have this happen? Thoughts?

Default RE: Drivers side not blowing heat

the ones with the dual climate control had problems with the blend doors warping over time and not being able to move. you can check the blend door actuator by looking on the drivers side under the dash at the heater box while moving the heat/cold control **** and watching the actuator move (or not move) if it wont move at all, it may be an actuator. easy fix, 3 screws. if it tries to move, remove the actuator from the heater box and see if you can move the blend door by hand. if not, then you hae one of the notorious warped doors. the only fix for that is either salvage yard heater box, or a new heater box assembly from dodge. the entire dash needs to be romoved to replace the heater box, approx 8 hour job for someone who has done a ew before. for a regular guy who has never had one out...i would say leave it to someone wih the experience.
