in the midst of replacing belt and water pump on my "new 99" and thier was more old oil in there than in my lawn mower, i cleaned averythig dont see anything obvious. Anybody else ran into this? perhaps its the valve cover gaskets? they get replaced next week or two,
after plugs , dist cap rotor, and wires.
500 bucks in parts for a 3000 van..... runs great 174k miles.

You want to replace the cam seals too.

 

i replaced cam seals and crank seal but ya know it still leaks maybe from valve cover. i replaced the front one but it still leaked.. i guess i will pull it and add a gallon of rtv and try again
