i need help my 96 caravan is in limp mode i did a ignition code check and got code 12,32,55 i know what the 12,55 are for and the 32 is for egr system failure would that be what put my van in limp mode.please help i am going to take it to the shop this week but it would help if i knew what the prob might be. thanks

 

When you turn the key on/off three times you will only read the stored codes in the PCM. For all of the other modules you will need a scanner. No an EGR code will not put the transmission into limp-in. Ck your speedometer when moving the van,if it doesn't move its a good chance the output sensor has a problem. sensor or an open wire. But you will need to remove the codes out of the TCM. Leonard
