96 3.3 caravan a/c compressor had a bearing go out. took compressor off and replaced with a bypass pulley. bypass pulley was about an inch in diameter larger than the compressor pulley. got a bigger belt. car ran fine for a couple of 4 mile roundtrips. went to start, car wouldn't start. tried a few more times finally started was running ok then sputtered and died. was told to try and reset the comp by disconnecting battery for a few minutes.
now, starts ok and runs ok for a few minutes then runs very erratic and tries to stall but doesn't.
as far as i know i didn't pull anything lose changing the pulley.

check the iac motor for carbon. take it off, give at good cleaning with carb cleaner and reinstall it.
