Default possible suspension issues

I have an 05 grand caravan, the problem im having is that sometimes if i hit a bump i get a dull thump from the front pass. side wheel. Im thinking it may have something to do with the suspension, but i am not really sure. It does not do it all the time, just sometimes when i catch it a certain way. Anyone have any suggestions????

Likely a sway bar bushing on the Passenger's side is worn. Inexpensive and easy to replace. Wheels don't have to be off the ground. Ramps will work.

i have checked the sway bar bushings, they seem to be fine no tears or cracks. Could it possibly be a strut or shock issue??? if so, how do i check that?????

The sway bar bushing will look fine from the outside. The Passenger side seems more problem prone. My last replacement lasted 25,000 kms. The problem seems to be that they wear a little, then the bracket will not be as tight anymore. The bracket / bracket tab then hit against the steel chasis, causing a noise sounding like the front end is falling off. It seems the bushings go through a short "squeaking" period first, then wear occursand subsequently theclunking.

I thought my bushings were bad so I got new ones. Went to put them on and found the sway bar had broken right at the bushing and you would not know it till taking the bracket off.
