Default keyless entry

I have a 2000 Grand Caravan with keyless entry. I have one working key fob and I've purchased an additional identical key fob on Ebay. I can get the Caravan to enter programming mode and reprogram the working key fob, but I can't program the new one. I know the batteries are OK, so I'm guessing the Caravan has reached its maximum of four working remotes. I'd like to program the new key fob without going to the dealer. Does anyone know how to reset the cache?

You will need to go to the dealer or if you know a tech from the dealer to reset the key fobs.

make sure its the right fob.. it may look right.. that dont mean it is.. check part numbers.. several will work.. several wont.. when programming.. you need ONE working remote.. and ALL remotes to be programmed to the vehicle.. hence.. if you have 3 working remotes.. and one non working.. to program the non working to make 4 remotes work.. you have to HAVE ALL 4.. also.. it could be something as stupid as the batteries
