2001 Caravan SE stud r/r
Ive been assigned the wonderful task of doing the drivers side studs on my father's '01 Caravan SE 3.8L
I need a bit of info. First, what do I do after removing the caliper? AFAIK caravans use a unit bearing/hub setup, correct? I'm familiar with Jeeps (XJ's to FSJ's to *****'s wags and such) and haven't so much as touched anything mechanical on this van.
The studs I know how to r/r, but getting everything apart is what info I lack. My dad seems to believe its a multi-part setup on a spindle but Im lead to believe that its a unit bearing setup. Anyone care to set us both straight?

You can still do just the studs with the hub on the van. You just need a hammer to knock the studs out. then use the lug nut to pull the studs though the holes. you will need a either a stud installer or a bigger nut to pull the stud though, along with the lug nut.
