2004 Grand Caravan
Hey Mopar Maniacs....
My Dodge family is now bigger...Just brought home a nice, candy apple red 04 Grand Caravan....34000kms on it...paid a little over 11gs CDN...Its like new and drove the 200kms home very nice....and with every little whistles and bells Dodge ever had to offer for that year...
Its got a DODGE brand remote starter and anti start device....when I got home It started to act like it was running out of fuel....dropped the hammer right down and it wanted to die still....and the remote starter stopped working...it worked everytime when I road tested the darn thing. When I manually start it(key in the ignition) it takes its sweet time to start....it never did that the 4 times I drove it before....
So sure enough I call my local Dodge dealer and they tell me that anti-start thingy is giving them problems on that year...I looked around a bit but found no info. But surely the anti-start is not at fault when its already running is it??
Thanx in advance for your input guys!!!

My friendly but usually costly Dodge Dealership surprised me by testing the pump pressure....for free lollll....I was in shock...but it seems fine or so they say....
On the other hand...the tech said that the Remote starters and the anti-start device on those are El Cheapos....I really thought Daimler-Chrysler was using top quality parts since they are DOUBLE and sometimes TRIPLE the price of parts stores....
I forgot to say this is a Canadian model, but except for emissions control systems, they are pretty much the same I guess.
