Temp guage not working

Temp guage not working
My 95 town and country seems to be heating well and everything seems to be working alright except the temp guage.
The van puts out heat and runs great but the temp guage never moves from cold...Is there a wire or separate fuse for the temp guage i can check... Would it be the thermostat even though it seems to be working right
Thank you for any help you can give me.

RE: Temp guage not working
Has nothing to do with your thermostat. you can check your owners manual for the fuse that is for the gauges but I would think that there would be more than just the temp not working if it were a fuse. I would tend to think it is a wire to the sender on the engine or the sender itself. I am not sure where the sender is on your motor but I would guess it is close to the thermostat housing. Likely a violet coloured wire going to it.

RE: Temp guage not working
Changed the temperature sending unit sensor and the sensor switch... no change the gauge still doesn't work and checked all fuses..only question is if the radiator fan relay could prevent the guage from working haven't had it tested the blower fan didn't seem like it was working but i locked my keys in the car with it running on accident (shamed) and finally heard it kick on but only for a minute or two and had the a/c on because my mechanic told me to turn it on to see if the fan motor was working. So does that mean it is working when it is on heat aswell or not...have to check that out...
I would really appreciate any help i could recieve.
THANK YOU

RE: Temp guage not working
If the fuse that operates the guages is good, you've replaced the engine temp sensor then I would suspect the guage itself is faulty.
Also, with the A/C turned off. If the coolant fan comes on after a period of idle time.......that would indicat that the sensors are operational.
