Default 2005 Caravan Pulls Left

Hello, I recently purchased a 2005 Caravan with 120,000 kilometres, It has new tires and brakes, It had a slight pull to the left, when following a left curve on the highway, it requires a fair amount of effort to straighten it out again, compared to our other caravans. I had it back in, and they replaced the drive axles, strut mounts and bearings, sway bars, inner and outer tie-rod ends, but it still seems to pull to the left, and when i hit bumps, it lightly tries to pull the wheel out of my hands. If i am holding tightly, it is not a problem, but it is really annoying. Does anybody have any idea what this could be? I would greatly appreciate any help, Thanks!

All that stuff was bad? or they just replaced it hoping to solve the problem? Either the van was wrecked at some point, or you have an incompetent mechanic who's just taking stabs in the dark and getting you to pay for it. Take it for alignment(to a different shop because it seems you're getting worked over at your usual shop). If they can't get it aligned they will tell you why.

If all that stuff really was bad, and it is still pulling, then it most likely WAS in an accident and I would be checking for structural issues.

Hello, It's still under the 30 day warranty, so thankfully i'm not paying for any of the parts. I just bought it about 2 weeks ago, have not had time to have a look at it yet, i'm going to throw it on my uncle's hoist and check it out closer. They put a bunch of parts on it before i received it, and even more when i took it back, i'm not sure why it needed so much work with only 120,000k on it, but other than the slight pull, it drives nicely. Thanks for the reply!

I agree about the allignment. That's probably all it needs, unless something
is bent (like a control arm).

Ask for a printout of the post alignment results.
If it still pulls you can get a second opinion at another shop.

Ask them to rotate the tires side to side. I bad tire could easily cause the pull.

Oh right you said you have new tires........ poor balancing could cause a pull. But I would imagine you would also have a noticeable wobble.

Did the pulling start before or after you bought the tires?

Thanks for the input everyone, I did switch the tires from side to side, then it pulled to the right, so i switched them to the back, and it does not pull anymore. I would have thought the dealer would have tried that before they threw in new drive shafts, sway bars and bearings in, Anyways, Thanks alot for the help!

Get them to replace that tire.
It will only give you problems down the road and now you can't properly rotate them!

Yeah, try to get them to replace that tire since it WILL wear unevenly no matter where it's installed.
So far it sounds like you're winning the warranty war.
