Does anyone know if there are any TSBs on wierd shifting patterns or loose steering.

1. When I am coasting around 10-20 mph and I decide to accelerate sometimes it slams into gear.

2. The steering just seems loose. My other vehicle is a Ram 1500 with 20 inch wheels. Maybe this is why it seems weird.


I worked my way through high school college at a Chrysler dealership as a mechanic and assistant parts and service manager. I get frustrated with the dealership where I know live because they need the van for a day to diagnose and then they get me back in for the problem on a different day. Pain in the A$$. I am just used to getting things done, and having access to TSBs

 

Four speed or six speed? My 6 speed is quirky but I like the way it helps give the 3.8l a little more juice when you need to merge into a crowded interstate. It is clunky at low speed acceleration though.

 

There is a flash update for both the 4 speed and 6 speed auto trans, TSB 21-017-08 for the 6 speed for shift improvement. TSB 02-005-08 for steering, Replacing struts. Also for RT body Sept 3 2007 thru March 17 2008 Recall H-16-09. Low pressure hose for the power steering.
