Default '96 caravan SE stop shifting

hey, i was wondering if anyone knows why my van stop shifting all of a sudden? it reverses and goes foward just fine, it just wont shift! someone told me it could be the v.s.s but i dont even know where its located, its my first time owning a dodge anything, can someone point me in the right direction? give me the right info pls?

Is the speedo working? If its not, the output sensor maybe no good or the wire to the sensor. You need to put codes out of the TCM. and post the codes.

yes, the speedo is working and so is the rpm, it just doesnt shift.
can i change the sensor my self? if so where is it located?

Try replacing both sensors, input and output. They screw into the case above the solenoid pack.
